CLACS OUTREACH SPRING 2022

Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies

 

At the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) our mission is to increase knowledge and awareness of Latin America and the Caribbean in the educational community and the general public by promoting language and area studies in their broadest sense.

 

The Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies invite Spanish & Illinois students to participate in the Spring 2022 bilingual Outreach programs, including:

 

- Latin American Storytime (Bilingual Storytelling, music  & craft). Program cosponsored with the Urbana Free Library, presented the Second Saturday of the month: February, March, April & May. 

 

- School and community programs (virtual or in person). As requested. 

 

Sign up!  

Students may sign up to help:
A- Preparing bilingual materials for the CLACS Outreach programs: videos, traditional crafts, activities, songs, announcements (1 hour/week during the semester).

 

B- Participating at CLACS Outreach programs including Latin American Storytime (bilingual storytelling, music & craft).
